Inside, travelers will find displays in French and English explaining the long and illustrious history of sweet-making in the region. Zany displays include famous works of art made of sweets: even a nougat Mona Lisa!  Those who lack a sweet tooth can still enjoy the remarkable wealth of history in Montélimar. The 12th century Castle Chateau des Adhemar​ sits on a hilltop above the town and is a remarkable example of the French Gothic. The house of the former president of the French Republic Emile Loubet​ is preserved, as is a Renaissance town-house.
