About
Egyptair is the state-owned flag carrier of Egypt, headquartered at Cairo International Airport, its primary hub. Established in 1932, it is one of the world's oldest airlines. Egyptair operates scheduled passenger and freight services to over 81 destinations across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance, which it joined in 2008. Egyptair is also notable for being one of the few airlines that does not serve alcoholic beverages on its flights.
