CrossCountry Trains
The reason why CrossCountry trains are popular is because passengers can travel long distances across the UK, without making too many stops. That means you can travel throughout the England, Wales and Scotland, stopping only at major train stations along the route to transfer to reach your destination. This significantly cuts down time spent on the train, as only major stations are included along the route.

Wheelchair Assistance is available for elderly, injured or disabled passengers who require assistance to feel more comfortable when getting on or off the train. Call the JourneyCare team for more details +44 344 811 0125.

For smaller items, you can use the baggage racks overhead to place soft items, small shopping bags and laptops; alternatively place them under the seat in front of you. Make sure your baggage does not block the aisles or exits.

CrossCountry Traveling with pets
Passengers are normally allowed to take pets with them on journeys, provided they are kept on a lead or in a cage. CrossCountry Transport of minors
Although there is no minimum age a minor can travel, it's essential that children are aware of the risks of train travel. It is up to the parents to decide if the child is fit to travel. If a member of staff is worried about a child traveling on their own, they may inform the British Transport Police to ensure their safety.
CrossCountry Refunds
Some tickets may allow you to apply for a refund, if you haven't used them yet, if the train is heavily delayed and canceled. Under certain circumstances, some cheaper tickets may be non-refundable - such as if it is an Advanced ticket.
