Flights to Stockholm
The two airports that operate closest to the city of Stockholm are Arlanda and Bromma. Bromma is small and services mainly internal flights, however you can get there directly from certain cities in Europe, such as Brussels and Helsinki. Arlanda is the main airport for the city and is located about 37 km from the central part of Stockholm. It is a hub for airlines such as Thomas Cook Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines, NextJet and Novair, and you can get there using direct flights from cities such as Paris, Vienna, Istanbul and Berlin. There are two smaller airports that are each located about 100 km away. These are called Nyköping and Västerås. You can get to the main city from Arlanda via express train, air coach and air shuttle. Air coaches and taxi are available to get you from the other tree airports to Stockholm.
Arriving in Stockholm
Stockholm is famed for possessing one of the best persevered medieval city centres in Europe. The Gamla Stan features cobblestone streets, beautiful churches and museums.
