Trains From Leeds To Doncaster: Journey Details

The first train of the day leaves Leeds between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The last train departs before 11:00 p.m. every day except Sunday, when it leaves just after 9:00 p.m. There are approximately 45 trains per day during the week and around 30-35 on weekends. Trains depart from Leeds every 15-30 minutes, most often in the mornings. Most trains from Leeds to Doncaster are direct, occasionally a change is required in York or Wakefield. Taking the Train from Leeds

All trains to Doncaster leave from Leeds Train Station, which is situated on the bank of the River Aire, just a few minutes from the city centre. Just outside the station at the New Station Street entrance is the bus interchange. Buses travel all around Leeds from here, including the Citybus which leaves every few minutes between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Other bus routes run throughout the city until around midnight.

Getting into Doncaster by Train

Doncaster displays a wide variety of architecture, from Roman ruins to Georgian buildings, which highlight the market town's long history. From the intriguing Sand House and the beautifully preserved Mansion House to the serene canals, there are many sights to explore. Hundreds of buses stop at the Doncaster Frenchgate Interchange, which is right outside the train station. Most locations within Doncaster are just a few minutes away by bus. Buses run until approximately 11:30 p.m.
